Operation method of conveyor:
1. The fixed conveyor should be installed on a fixed foundation according to the prescribed installation method. Mobile conveyor should be wedged with triangular wood or braked with brake before the official operation of the wheels. In order to avoid walking during work, when there are multiple conveyors operating in parallel, there should be a one-meter channel between the machine and the machine, and between the machine and the wall.
2. Before using the conveyor, check whether the running part, tape buckle and bearing device are normal and whether the protection equipment is complete. The tightness of the belt should be adjusted to a suitable degree before starting.
3. The belt conveyor should be started with no load. Wait for normal operation before feeding. It is forbidden to drive after feeding first.
4. When there are several conveyors running in series, they should be started in order from the unloading end. Only after all of them are in normal operation, can the material be fed.
5. If the tape deviates during operation, it should be stopped and adjusted, and should not be used reluctantly, so as not to wear the edge and increase the load.
6. The working environment and the temperature of the delivered material shall not be higher than 50℃ and lower than -10℃. Do not convey materials with acid and alkaline oil and organic solvent components.
7. No pedestrian or passenger on the conveyor belt.
8. Before stopping, the material must be stopped and the belt must be unloaded before stopping.
9. The conveyor motor must be well insulated. Mobile conveyor cable should not be pulled and dragged indiscriminately. The motor should be grounded reliably.
10. It is strictly forbidden to pull the belt by hand when the belt is slipping to avoid accidents.

Maintenance of the belt conveyor:
In order to ensure reliable operation of the belt conveyor, the main thing is to find and eliminate possible faults in time. For this reason the operator must always observe the working of the conveyor and deal with any abnormalities in time. It is important that the mechanic should regularly inspect and check any situation or part that needs attention. A carrier roller, for example, does not appear to be very important, but a high-speed conveyor belt conveying abrasive materials may quickly wear through its casing and develop a knife edge, and that knife edge could seriously damage an expensive conveyor belt. Trained workers or experienced staff can spot an impending accident and prevent it before it happens. Belt conveyor belts account for a significant portion of the overall conveyor cost. In order to reduce the cost of replacing and repairing conveyor belts, it is important to focus on training operators and maintenance personnel in the operation and maintenance of conveyor belts.
